Results for March 22 - March 23, 2003

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 6 - Cape Ann 0
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Cape Ann Squirt A team 6 to 0 in Valley League play. Goalie Sam Daley was outstanding in net, recording his 9th shut out by stopping 42 shots. Jared Donohue and AJ Gurney each scored twice. Goals were also scored by Cody Cawthron and Matt Cann. Cam Stewart had 4 assists. Jim Earley was strong on defense.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 3 - Lowell 3
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies tied the Lowell Squirt A team 3 to 3 in the Valley League play. Goalie Sam Daley was strong in net stopping 30 shots. Cam Stewart scored assisted by AJ Gurney. Cody Cawthron scored twice assisted by Shane Earley and Peter Medvetz.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team represent NH in the New England Tier II Regional Championships
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team represented New Hampshire in the New England Tier II Regional Championships that were held in Burlington, Vermont. The Huskies competed with some of the premier girl hockey programs in the country in this tournament. In their first game, Henniker lost 0-10 to the Connecticut Polar Bears. Henniker rebounded in game two against the Barre Vermont Blades. The Huskies dominated the game but had to settle for a 1-1 tie with Amanda Payea’s unassisted goal late in the third period. In their final game of the tournament, Henniker fell to the Stanford Connecticut Sharks, 6-1. Claire O’Connell scored the Husky goal with an assist from Laurel Bauer.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 - Manchester Jr. Monarchs 2
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies tied the Manchester Jr. Monarchs Squirt A team 2 to 2 to finish 3rd in the Granite State regular season. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 27 shots for a total of 1211 saves on the year. Dan Mulcahey was outstanding on defense. Jared Donohue and AJ Gurney each scored. Matt Cann assisted on each goal.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 4 - Nashua 2
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies overcame a 2 goal deficit to defeat the Nashua 1 Squirt A team 4 to 2 in the Granite State Tournament. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 29 shots. Dan Mulcahey was outstanding on defense. Jared Donohue scored 2 goals, Ian Murray and Peter Medvetz also scored.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 - Salem 2
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies tied the Salem Squirt A team 2 to 2. Benny Umen scored assisted by Ian Murray. Matt Cann scored assisted by Dan Mulcahey. Shane Earley was strong on defense. Sam Daley made 23 saves.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 - Back Bay 3
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost to the Back Bay Squirt A team 3 to 2 finishing 3rd in the Granite State Championship tournament. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 25 shots for a total of 1288 saves on the year. Benny Umen scored. Ian Murray also scored assisted by AJ Gurney. Charlie Petrick and Dan Earley were strong on defense. Jared Donohue and AJ Gurney each scored. Matt Cann assisted on each goal.

Henniker Pee Wee B Granite State Tournament Results
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team started off strong in the Granite State Tournament defeating NH East 7-2. Bobby Galli led the scoring for Henniker with a Hat Trick and two assists. Amanda Payea scored two goals and an assist. Greg Warner and Alex Butterworth also scored goals for PFC. Assists went to Keagan Hardy, Laurel Bauer and Warner. Erik VanDenberghe was outstanding in goal.

The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team came out flying against the Avalanche with Bobby Galli scoring on a centering pass from Greg Warner 25 seconds into the game. Henniker held the Avalanche scoreless for the first period but ended up defeated 11-1. Henniker also fell to Somersworth-Berwick in a hard fought game 2-0.

In the consolation game, the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team tied the Kearsarge Thrashers 3-3. Greg Warner scored first for Henniker assisted by Bobby Galli and Alex Fouliard. Kearsarge came back and tied the score. Galli scored next for Henniker. Laurel Bauer from a face off sent it back to Amanda Payea who scored the third Henniker goal. Kearsarge came back in the third period scoring two goals for the tie.

Results for February 22 - February 24, 2003

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 0 - Salem 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost a tight battle against the Salem Squirt A team 1 to 0 in Granite State League play. It was a defensive game. Dan Mulcahey, Jim Earley, Charlie Petrick and Shane Earley were outstanding on defense. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 22 shots.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls 4 - Nighthawks 1
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls defeated the Nighthawks 4-1 in the first round of the Bay State Girls Hockey League playoffs. Kyliegh Joseph led Henniker with two goals. Laurel Bauer had a goal and an assist. Claire O'Connell had one goal. Amanda Payea and Brianna Blaine each had an assist. Shenae Lundberg stopped fourteen shots on net for Henniker.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 1 - Medford 3
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost a hard fought battle against the Medford Squirt A team 3 to 1 in Valley League play. Matt Cann Petrick was the defensive player of the game. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 21 shots. Cody Cawthron scored the lone Henniker goal assisted by Cam Stewart.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 1 - Manchester Jr. Monarchs 4
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost a hard fought battle against the Manchester Jr. Monarchs Squirt A team 4 to 1 in Granite State League play. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 35 shots. Charlie Petrick was the defensive player of the game. Jared Donohue scored the lone Henniker goal.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 6 - Saugus 0
The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team defeated Saugas 6-0 in valley league play. Josh Kehr and John Lineberry combined for three goals apiece in the win.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 2 - Haverhill 1
On Sunday Lineberry Tennis defeated Haverhill 2-1. Goal scorers were Mike McCarron and Josh Kehr.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 3 - Concord 0
On Monday the Lineberry Tennis Bantam team defeated Concord 3-0 to finish the regular Granite State League season in first place with a 14-1-5 record. Jacob Philibert, Mike McCarron and Tyler Garvin scored while Jim Thomas had three assists in the victory. Jon Tuttle had another shutout.

Results for February 15 - February 16, 2003

Hillsboro Ford U -12 Girls - 1 vs. Seacoast - 1
The short staffed Huskies fell behind 1 - 0 early in the first period. Strong defense by Megan Kehr, Annel Jones, and Alex Fouliard and great goal- tending by Shenae Lundberg kept them in the game. Megan Kehr broke in with just 1:23 left on the clock to score the game tying goal.

Hillsboro Ford U -12 Girls Granite State League Tier II Squirt State Champions!
Hillsboro Ford U -12 Girls - 3 vs. NH Lady Monarch Squirt B - 0

Granite State League Tier II Squirt State Playoff Championship game. Shenae Lundberg posts her 6th shutout of the season. Goals by Kyleigh Joseph, Laurel Bauer and Amanda Payea. Good offensive effort by Zila Jones, Brianna Blaine, Kristyn Von Svoboda,Megan McCosh, and Claire O'Connell. The girls will represent New Hampshire at the New England Regional Playoffs in Burlington, Vt on March 14-16.

Henniker/Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 7 - NH East 1
The Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team defeated NH East 7 -1. Wyman's Nathan Philbrick and Keith Galli both scored hat tricks, with Hunter Joseph also scoring a goal. Assists went to Corey Kasiaras, Philbrick and Galli. Sam Tucker and Will Callif played well on defense.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 3 - NH East 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the NH East Squirt A team 3 to 1 in Granite State League play. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 29 shots. Dan Mulcahey and Shane Earley led the defense. Jared Donohue scored 3 goals for the hat trick. Peter Medvetz and Cody Cawthron each had assist.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 - Nashua 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Nashua Squirt A team 2 to 1 in Granite State League play. Goalie Sam Daley lead the defense stopping 40 shots. Jared Donohue scored goal assisted by Ian Murray and Peter Medvetz scored assisted by Jared Donohue. Charlie Petrick was also strong on defense.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 3 - Concord House Red 2
Alex Butterworth scored two goals, the second goal was within the last minute of play, to lead the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team to a win over the Concord House Red team 3-2. Bobby Galli's goal started Henniker back from a 2 goal deficit. Amanda Payea, Matt Lennon, and Zach Roever all had assists.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 2 - Somersworth - Berwick 2
Goalie Erik VanDenBerghe turned back forty shots as Henniker's PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team tied Somersworth-Berwick 2-2. Bobby Galli scored the first goal of the game. Alex Butterworth scored the tying goal. The hard charging Amanda Payea and Megan Kehr played well on defense.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 9 - Brattleboro 2
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team beat Brattleboro 9-2. Amanda Payea Dominated the scoring for Henniker with four goals. Alex Butterworth had two goals, with Laurel Bauer, Bobby Galli, Megan Kehr, and Keagan Hardy each getting a goal. Greg Warner, Zach Roever, Bauer, Galli, and Hardy had assists.

Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 4 - Lebanon 6
The Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team fell to Lebanon 4 - 6. Wyman's Nathan Philbrick scored two goals and an assist. David Bradley and Saer Murray scored goals for Henniker to help tie the score in the third period. This was not enough as Lebanon added two more goals. Derek Drouin and Keith Galli had assists.

Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 3 - NH Avalanche 4
A short handed Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team took on the undefeated NH Avalanche and battled hard through three periods. Wyman's Nathan Philbrick's goal put Henniker on the score board first. The Avalanche scored 3 goals putting them ahead 3-1. Keith Galli scored two goals to tie the score. With four seconds left, the Avalanche won a face off beating Henniker at the buzzer 4-3. Hunter Joseph had two assists with Saer Murray and Corey Kasiaras each getting assists. Derek Drouin was outstanding in goal.

Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 2 - Back Bay 2
The Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team tied Back Bay 2-2. Wyman's Nathan Philbrick scored the first goal of the game, but Back Bay fought back at the end of the first period to tie the score. Keith Galli put Henniker ahead scoring on a centering pass from Philbrick. Back Bay came back again and tied the score. Nick Kasiaras was strong on defense and key to the plays leading to Henniker's goals. Alex Houle was outstanding in goal.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 6 - Nashua 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Nashua Panthers Squirt A team 6 to 1 in Granite State League play. Charlie Petrick was strong on defense. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 25 shots. Peter Medvetz and Ian Murray each scored twice. Goals were also scored by Cody Cawthron and Jared Donahue.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 8 - NH East Eagles 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the NH East Eagles Squirt A team 8 to 1 in Granite State League play. Jim Earley was fantastic on defense. Ian Murray and Jared Donohue combined for 6 of the goals, each scoring a hat trick. Goals were also scored by Jim Earley and Peter Medvetz. Sam Daley made 14 saves.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 1 - Berlin 0
The Henniker Huskies Michie Corp. Squirt B hockey team defeated Berlin 1-0 on Saturday. The lone goal was scored in the second period by Christopher Medvetz assisted by Sam Piper. Henniker Goalie Dylan Payea stopped 23 Berlin shots in an outstanding effort to shutout Berlin.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 3 - Lebanon 1
Henniker's Squirt B hockey team sponsored by Michie Corp. skated to a 3-1 victory over Lebanon on Sunday. These two evenly matched teams have played three previous games, which were all decided by one goal. Henniker goals were scored by Sam Piper 2, and Christopher Medvetz 1. Dylan Payea assisted on the second Henniker goal.

Hillsboro Ford U12 Girls 3 - Charles River Blue 1
The Huskies scored once in each period. Laurel lit it first with an assist from Claire. In the second period Amanda scored on an assist from Annel and in the third Brianna scored on an assist from Kyleigh. Another strong game in net for Shenae.

Hillsboro Ford U12 Girls 3 - Seacoast 3
Seacoast jumps out to an early lead. Amanda Payea ties Seacoast twice. With an exciting finish the Huskies pulled the goalie and Amanda scores with 5 seconds to go to tie it up. Great Defense by Annel, Zila and Megan.

Hillsboro Ford U12 Girls 8 - Cape Cod 0
The Huskies made their way to Cape Cod for a late game. The team was a little sluggish in the first 2 periods but caught fire in the third for 6 goals enroute to an 8-0 victory. Amanda Payea led the way with 3 goals,Laurel Bauer 2 goals, Claire O'Connell, Annel, and Kyleigh added one each. Shenae Lundberg records her 4 th shutout of the season.

Hillsboro Ford U12 Girls 0 - Monarch I 4

The Huskies played a tough division one team with back to back games. Friday night with only seven players the girls held the Monarchs at bay through one, then tired enroute to a 5-0 loss. On Sat. the girls played tough - only down 2-0 after two, the huskies almost scored on a couple of scrambles in front of the net. The Monarchs put it away late in third for a 4-0 win. Great effort by all against a tough team.

Hillsboro Ford U12 Girls 2 - Masco Black 4
Huskies played the first place Masco Black team. Amanda Payea puts the Huskies out front with 2 first period goals. The Masco team battled back and eventually won the game 4-2.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls at Verizon Center Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls 2 - Lady Monarchs Squirt B 0
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls defeated the Lady Monarchs Squirt B team 2-0 in a game that was played at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester. Megan Kehr and Laurel Bauer scored for the Huskies. The Henniker defense led by Kehr, Amanda Payea, Annel Jones and Zila Jones, and goalie Shenea Lundberg played well to earn the shutout. Following the game, the U-12 team attended the AHL contest between the Manchester Monarchs and the Manitoba Moose.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 6 - Andover, MA 0
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Andover, Ma Squirt A team in Valley League play 6 - 0. Goalie Sam Daley scored his 8th shut out of the season stopping 18 shots. Jared Donohue scored three goals for the Hat Trick. Jim Earley scored twice and Benny Umen scored.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 4 - NH Jr. Wildcats 1
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Jr. Wildcat Squirt A team 4 to 1 in Granite State League play. Dan Mulcahey was the defensive player of the game. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 27 shots. Jared Donohue scored 3 goals for his second hat trick in two days. AJ Gurney also scored for Henniker.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 6 - Dover 1
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Dover Squirt A team 6 to 1 in Granite State League play. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 40 shots. Charlie Petrick was strong on defense. Ian Murray scored twice. Goals were also scored by Benny Umen, Jared Donohue, Peter Medvetz and AJ Gurney.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 3 - Jr Monarchs 1
Huskies Bantam Team defeated the first place Monarchs of Saturday 3-1. Josh Kehr lead the strong team effort with three goals assisted by Mike McCarron and Tyler Garvin.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 4 - Concord 1
On Sunday, the Lineberry Tennis Henniker the Huskies took over first place in the Granite State League by defeating a strong Concord team 4-1. Jon Tuttle was strong in goal and the Dunc Walsh player of the game, while John Lineberry , Sam Mellen, Mike McCarron, and Josh Kehr scored for the Huskies.

Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 1 - Nashua 4
The Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team fell to Nashua 4 - 1. Henniker scored first with a goal by Saer Murray, assisted by Hunter Joseph, but Nashua came back and scored four unanswered goals. Sam Tucker played well his first game back from the disabled list.

Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A 3 - Manchester Flames 6
Hunter Joseph scored a hat trick for the Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team, with assists by Nathan Philbrick and Nick Kasiaras. This was not enough to stop Manchester as the Flames defeated Henniker 6 - 3.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 7 - NH East 2
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team defeated NH East 7-2. Nick DelloRusso lead the scoring for Henniker with two goals. Alex Fouliard scored her first goals of the season. Greg Warner, Alex Butterworth, Amanda Payea, and Bobby Galli also scored goals for Henniker. Zach Roever, Laurel Bauer, Payea, and Galli had assists.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 3 - Hanover 3
The Henniker Huskies Michie Corp. Squirt B team skated to a 3-3 tie with Hanover. Christopher Medvetz, Nathan Jamieson, and Sam Piper each scored a goal. Zach Edge and Nathan Jamieson assisted on two of the goals.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 8 - P.V.A. 0
The Henniker Huskies Michie Corp. Squirt B team scored 8 goals to win the contest against P.V.A.. The Huskies used teamwork and good passing in its high scoring effort. Goals scored by: Dylan Payea 3, Nathan Jamieson 2, Christopher Medvetz 2, and Sam Piper 1.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 1 - Manchester Flames 4
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies lost a hard fought battle to the Manchester Flames Squirt A team 4 to 1 in Granite State League play. Shane Earley was the defensive player of the game. Daley stopped 26 shots. AJ Gurney scored assisted by Peter Medvetz.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 4 - Billerica 0
Henniker's High Forest peewee A's beat Billerica 4-0. Noah Mellen and William Compton each scored twice. Thomas Tuttle and Dan Fougere assisted. Cam Ritzenthaler played heads up defense. Carson McDonough played well in goal.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 3 - Manchester 0
High Forest beat Manchester 3-0. Mellen scored all of the goals, Matt Lennon had one assist. Dan Traynor played well. Bill Milsop played solid defense.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 5 - NH Jr. Wildcats 3
High Forest defeated NH Jr. Wildcats 5-3 in a hard skating contest. Mellon scored twice, Tuttle, Lennon and Compton also tallied. Max Murray and Jacob Noyes played well on defense. McDonough and Shelby Kuespert were outstanding in goal.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 Nashua 1
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Nashua Squirt A Team 2 to 1 in Granite State League. AJ Gurney scored assisted by Ian Murray and Peter Medvetz scored assisted by Benny Umen. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 23 shots.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 1 - Kearsarge 2
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team fell to Kearsarge in a close game 2-1. Bobby Galli scored for PFC assisted by Alex Butterworth and Conner St. George. Shelby Kuespert played well in goal turning back 30 shots.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 3 Manchester Flames 2
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Manchester Squirt A Flames 3 to 2 in Granite State League. Cody Cawthron scored assisted by Peter Medvetz, Matt Cann scored assisted by Shane Earley and Peter Medvetz scored assisted by Dan Mulcahey. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 31 shots.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 1 - PVA 0
After a scoreless first period and a closely played game the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team won, defeating PVA 1-0. Assisted by Greg Warner and Alex Butterworth during a goal mouth scramble, Bobby Galli tapped home the winning goal. Erik VanDenberghe earned the shutout in goal. Dylan Payea and Laurel Bauer played well for PFC.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 4 - Keene 1
The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team defeated Keene in Granite State League action 4-1. Tyler Garvin lead the attack with two goals. Jim Thomas and Josh kehr had single tallies.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 7 - Brattleboro Vt. 0
The Huskies beat Brattleboro Vt. 7-0. Sam Mellen and Josh Kehr had two goals each. Jim Thomas, John Lineberry and Tyler Garvin all had one.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 8 - Haverhill Ma. 0
The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team defeated Haverhill Ma. in the Valley league 8-0. Sam Mellen had the Hat Trick while John Lineberry and Garrett Bauer had two goals each.

Results for January 4 - January 5, 2003

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 1 - Concord 3
Goalie Erik VanDenberghe held Concord scoreless for the first two periods, but this and 30 saves were not enough as the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team was defeated by Concord 3-1. Bobby Galli scored the lone goal for Henniker assisted by Alex Butterworth and Zach Roever.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 1 - Lebanon 3
After two tough periods a short staffed Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team skated even with Lebanon in the third period. Alex Butterworth went top shelf and scored the only goal for Henniker assisted by Laurel Bauer. Great efforts by Amanda Payea and Conner St. George, but Henniker lost to Lebanon 8-1.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 3 - Nashua 4
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost a close game to the Nashua Squirt A team 4-3 in Valley League play. Peter Medvetz scored twice assisted by Benny Umen and Dan Mulcahey. Cam Stewart scored assisted by Jared Donahue. Goalie Sam Daley made 33 saves.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 7 - Woburn 0
Goalie Sam Daley posted his 7th shut out of the year, stopping 22 shots in the Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies 7 to 0 defeat of the Woburn Squirt A Team in Valley League play. Henry Glendinning and Charlie Petrick each scored their first goals of the season. Matt Cann scored twice. Goals were also scored by Ian Murray, AJ Gurney and Benny Umen.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 3 - Berlin 5
An exciting game between two evenly matched teams. Henniker had the lead until the third period when Berlin scored 3 goals to win the game. Goals were scored by Sam Piper and Dylan Payea, Tyler Larose had and assist.

Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B 8 - Hanover 4
With consistent goal tending from Shanea Lundberg, Henniker was able to focus its efforts on offense. The Huskies turned up its offense to overpower Hanover with hard skating and teamwork. The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team up-ended the Charles River Squirt Blue team 3-1. Henniker goals were scored by Laurel Bauer, Amanda Payea, and Brianna Blaine. Assisting on the goals were Claire O'Connell, Annel Jones, and Kyleigh Joseph. The Charles River goal was scored by Meagan Browne, assisted by Gillian Nolan. Alex Fouliard and Megan McCosh skated well for the Huskies.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 4 - North Reading 2
Henniker's High Forest Peewee A team defeated North Reading 4-2. Dan Fougere was outstanding on offense. Billy Milsop had two assists and a strong game on defense.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 6 - North Middlesex 2
Henniker beat North Middlesex 6-2. William Compton and Noah Mellen scored three goals apiece. Jacob Noyes notched three assists. Max Murray led the defense. Carson McDonough and Shelby Kuespert were solid in goal.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 5 - Berlin 1
Henniker High Forest Peewee A beat Berlin 5-1. Joseph Getts and Jacob Noyes put the puck in the net. Matt Lennon and Noyes had multiple assists. Cam Ritzenthaler and Tom Tuttle held the defense.

Nathan Philbrick led the Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team in their 3-1 victory over Lebanon. Philbrick had two goals and an assist on Keith Galli's goal. Alex Houle and Nick Kasiaras skated well on defense for Henniker.

The Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B team beat Lebanon 4-3 in another close game. Goals were scored by Christopher Medvets and Sam Piper. Blair Landes helped with the assist.

The Henniker/Michie Corp. Squirt B Team lost to a very physical Rochester team. The final score was Rochester 6 and Henniker 3. Sam tallied the 3 goals, with assists from Dylan Payea and Tyler Larose.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 1 - Brattleboro 4
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team fell to Brattleboro 4-1. Alex Butterworth scored for Henniker on a lead pass from Laurel Bauer. Erik VanDenberghe was outstanding in goal turning back 34 shots. Nick DelloRusso played well for Henniker.

The Henniker Peewee A High Forest team downed Billerica 4-to-2 behind a hat trick from William Compton. Matt Lennon had two assists. Carson McDonough was strong in goal. Cameron Ritzenthaler was solid on defense.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 5 - Back Bay 3
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies lost a hard fought game to the Back Bay Squirt A team 5-3. Cody Cawthron scored. Peter Medvetz scored twice and Shane Earley had an assist. Goalie Sam Daley stopped 30 of 35 shots.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 6 - Nashua 0
The Henniker Peewee A High Forest team defeated Nashua 6-to-0. Compton had two goals, Tom Tuttle, Jacob Noyes, Noah Mellen and Joseph Getts also scored. Dan Traynor had two assists. Shelby Kuespert played well in goal.

Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A 2 - Dover 2
The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies tied the Dover Squirt A team 2-2. Goalie Sam Daley was strong in net making 30 saves. AJ Gurney scored a goal and Dan Mulcahey scored a goal and an assist. Matt Cann, Henry Glendinning and Cam Stewart played well.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A 7 - North Reading 1
On Sunday, High Forest beat North Reading 7-to-1. Getts, Lennon and Compton netted two goals each, Noah Mellen had four assists. Dan Fougere played well at both ends of the ice. Billy Milsop and Max Murray were steady on defense all weekend.

The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team tied with the Lebanon Lighting. The Huskies goal came on a power play by Josh Kehr with assists by Jim Thomas and John Lineberry. Zintis Jones played very well on defense.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 2 - NH East 2
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team tied NH East 2-2. Amanda Payea scored the first goal for Henniker on an end-to-end rush to tie the game 1-1. NH East scored next to go ahead. Bobby Galli scored with 30 seconds left in the game for the tie. Greg Warner and Zach Roever both played well for Henniker.

The Henniker Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team fell to Concord 5-1. Defensive partner Nick Kasiaras fed Nathan Philbrick with a behind the net pass. Philbrick then skated end to end and scored the lone goal for Henniker. Alex Houle was solid on defense for Henniker.

The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls fell to Masco Black, 2-5. Laurel Bauer scored a goal and had an assist for Henniker and Amanda Payea had a goal. Megan McCosh and Claire O'Connell skated well for the Huskies.

Sunday night the Lineberry Tennis Bantam A Huskies defeated the New Hampshire Wildcats 4-1. Josh Kehr had two goals and single tallies by Tyler Garvin and Mike McCarron. Sam Mellen had another strong game and Jon Tuttle played well in Goal.

The Henniker/Arcomm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Tewksbury, MA Squirt A team 8 -0 in Valley League play. Goalie Sam Daley recorded his 6 shut out of the season. Peter Medvetz scored twice. Goals were also scored by Cody Cawthron, Dan Mulcahey, Ian Murray, Christopher Medvetz, and Matt Cann.

The Wyman's Chevrolet Henniker Mite A team battled the Nashua Panthers through two scoreless periods. Hunter Joseph scored for Henniker with a superb re-direct on a pass from Keith Galli with six minutes left in the game. Nathan Philbrick and Galli each added goals in the final minutes as Henniker beat Nashua 3-0. Goalie Derek Drouin earned the shutout.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 9 - Mount Washington Valley 1
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Mount Washington Valley Squirt A team 9 to 1. Ian Murray, Peter Medvetz, Cam Stewart each scored two goals and Jared Donohue scored a goal and three assist. The Henniker defense was strong.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 2 - Kearsarge 3
Fifty shots on goal were not enough as the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team fell to Kearsarge 3-2. Bobby Galli scored the first goal of the game assisted by Dan Fougere and Chris Medvetz. Kearsarge scored three goals before Matt Lennon's goal, assisted by Joseph Getts, brought the score within one. Nick DelloRusso and Keagan Hardy skated hard for Henniker.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls 3 - Lady Junior Monarchs 0
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls prevailed over the Lady Junior Monarchs 3-0. Claire O'Connell led the Huskies with a goal and an assist. Megan Kehr and Kyleigh Joseph each scored a goal, and Laurel Bauer had an assist. Shenae Lundberg recorded her second straight shutout.

On Saturday the Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team defeated N.H. East, 2-0. Goal scorers were Josh Kehr and Jim Thomas. Jon Tuttle was in goal for the shutout.

Hunter Joseph scored the lone goal for the Wyman's Chevrolet Henniker Mite A team in their defeat by Hanover 4-1. Will Callif and Alex Houle both skated well for Henniker.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 3 - Andover, MA 2
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Andover, MA Squirt A team 3 to 2 in Valley League, continuing their undefeated season. Goalie Sam Daley was outstanding in net, stopping 20 shots. Ian Murray, Dan Mulcahey and Cody Cawthron each scored for Henniker.

Henniker Peewee A High Forest 4 - Masco 3
Henniker Peewee A High Forest beat Masco 4-to-3 in Valley League play. William Compton scored two goals, Dan Traynor and Noah Mellen also lit the lamp. Billy Milsop played solid defense. Shelby Kuespert was outstanding in goal.

High Forest Peewee A 4 - Keene 4
High Forest Peewee A settled for a 4-to-4 tie with Keene in Granite State action. Compton and Joseph Getts scored two goals apiece. Carson McDonough and Kuespert shared goaltending duties.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 4 - N.H. Avalanche 1
The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A Huskies defeated the N.H. Avalanche 4-1 behind two goals by John Lineberry and one each for Josh Kehr and Murphy Rainville.

Noah Mellen Named Valley League Player of the Week
Henniker's Peewee A High Forest center Noah Mellen earned the prestigious "Player Of The Week" recognition from the Valley League last week. Noah scored 6 goals to lead his team in an 8-to-2 victory over Andover. The following week, Mellen showed he could be a playmaker as well by notching 4 assists in High Forest's 4-2 win over Berlin in Granite State action. Congratulations Noah Mellen and keep up the good work.

The Henniker Squirt B team defeated Lebanon 4-3 in an evenly played game. Lead changed hands twice during the game. Sam Piper scored a hat trick; Tanner Zito scored a goal and had an assist. Tanner fed Sam the puck in front of the Lebanon net, and he scored the game winner with 3 minutes left to play.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 2 - Rochester Squirt A 1
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Rochester Squirt A team 2 to 1 in Granite State League play. Goalie Sam Daley made 22 saves. Cody Cawthron scored assisted by Cam Stewart and Ian Murray scored assisted by Benny Umen.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 3 - Kearsage 5
Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team fell to Kearsage 3 -5. Trailing by one in the first period, Amanda Payea scored an unassisted goal to tie the score. Kearsage then scored twice more. Bobby Galli scored two goals in less than a minute, with assists by Megan Kehr and Greg Warner, to tie the score again. Forwards Laurel Bauer and Alex Fouliard skated hard on offense.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girl's 4 - Seacoast Lightning 3
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girl's team knocked off the first place Seacoast Lightning, 4-3, in Bay State Girls Youth Hockey League play on Saturday. Amanda Payea led the Huskies with two goals. Claire O'Connell and Kyleigh Joseph each had one goal and "Alex" Fouliard tallied one assist.

Henniker Peewee A High Forest 7 - Salem 1
Henniker Peewee A High Forest team downed Salem 7-1. Noah Mellen and Matt Lennon combined for three goals and four assists. Max Murray worked the corners hard. Joseph Getts scored a beauty goal on a break in.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam 3 - Andover, Mass. 0
The Lineberry Tennis Bantam team defeated Andover Mass. 3-0 in Valley league Hockey action. John Lineberry, Jacob Philibert and Garret Bauer all scored for the under manned Huskies. Carson McDonough was in goal for the shutout.

Henniker Squirt B team 1 - White Mountain 5
The Henniker Squirt B team had a tough 5-1 loss, against the very physical play of the White Mountain team. Christopher Medvetz scored the lone goal for the Huskies, assisted by Tyler Larose and Blair Landes.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 6 - NH Jr. Avalanche Squirt A 3
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the NH Jr. Avalanche Squirt A team 6 to 3 in Granite State League play to remain undefeated. Goalie Sam Daley made 18 saves. AJ Gurney scored twice, assisted once by Jim Earley. Jared Donohue scored twice assisted both times by Cody Cawthron. Jim Earley scored assisted by Peter Medvetz and Benny Umen. Dan Mulcahey also scored.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 2 - Kearsage 2
The defense team of Amanda Payea and Megan Kehr lead the Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team to a 2-2 tie in the rematch with Kearsage. Payea had two goals and Kehr had an assist. Keagan Hardy and Conner St. George played well for Henniker. Erik VanDenberghe was outstanding in goal with 20 saves.

The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team skated to a 6-0 victory over Charles River Squirt Black. First period goals were scored by Megan Kehr and Amanda Payea. Amanda and Megan both score goals in the third period. Claire O'Connell and Megan McCosh each scored one goal with assists by Zila Jones, Amanda Payea, and Kyleigh Joseph. Shenae Lundberg shined in net and posted her first BSGYHL shutout.

Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls Win Dover Thanksgiving Jamboree Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls Win Dover Thanksgiving Jamboree
The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team won the championship this weekend in the Dover Thanksgiving Jamboree Tournament.

In the opening game, Henniker outlasted the Lady Monarch Squirt B team, 2-0. Amanda Payea scored both goals with an assist by Laurel Bauer. Shenae Lundberg recorded her first career shutout in goal.

In game two, Henniker and the Dover Squirt B team were tied 2-2 at the end of the second period. The Husky offense caught fire in the third period and the final score was Henniker, 9-2. Amanda Payea led the Huskies with four goals and one assist. Kyleigh Joseph had two goals. Briana Blaine, Claire O'Connell and Megan Kehr each had one goal. Laurel Bauer had two assists and Megan McCosh has one assist.

Casco Bay. Me jumped out to an early lead in the final game of the tournament on a goal by Kate Bauvel. Henniker responded with a goal by Claire O'Connell, assisted by Laurel Bauer. Henniker put two more goals up, an unassisted goal by Laurel Bauer and a goal by Kyleigh Joseph, assisted by Megan McCosh. Casco Bay scored two goals in the third period to tie the game. Amanda Payea scored the winning goal for the Huskies with :56 seconds left in the game.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A win Friends of New England College Hockey Fall Classic
In the Friends of New England College Hockey Fall Classic, The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team won the Championship with wins over Concord 4-1, Manchester 2-0, N.H. Avalanche 3-2 and Concord again in the finals 4-2. Goal scorers for the tournament were John Lineberry 4, Josh kehr 2, Mike McCarron 2, Jacob Philibert 2, Jim Thomas 2, Tyler Garvin and Steven Weston with one each.

The Lineberry Tennis Bantam A team defeated Methuen in the Valley League Friday night 6-2. Josh Kehr had 2 goals, Sam Mellen, Zintis Jones, Steve Weston and Jacob Philibert all had one.

Lineberry Tennis Bantam A 6 - Berlin 0
On Sunday Lineberry tennis defeated Berlin 6-0 in the Granite sate league. Steve Weston had 2 goals, John Lineberry , Tyler Garvin, Jacob Philibert and Sam Mellen all had one. Jon Tuttle was in goal for the shutout.

Sunday night the Huskies defeated the Haverhill Bantam One team 5-3. Jimmy Thomas had 2 goals, Josh Kehr, Zintis Jones and Steven Weston all had one. Murphy Rainville played well on defense.

Henniker Wymans Chevrolet Mite A 9 - Berlin 0
The Henniker Wymans Chevrolet Mite A team defeated Berlin 9 -0. Saer Murray and Keith Galli each had a hat trick and two assists. Hunter Joseph had two goals with David Bradley getting a goal and an assist. Other assists were by Alex Houle, Corey Kasiaras and Nate Philbrick. Derek Drouin earned the shutout in goal.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 7 - Keene Squirt A 3
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Keene Squirt A Team 7-3 remaining undefeated in the Granite State League. Goalie Sam Daley was strong in net stopping 33 shots. Peter Medvetz, Cody Cawthorn, Ian Murray scored two goals each and Jared Donohue scored a goal.

The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Woburn Squirt A Team 4-1 to remain undefeated in the Valley League. Goalie Sam Daley made 28 saves. Peter Medvetz led the offense, scoring two goals. Cody Cawthorn and Benny Umen each scored a goal.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A team defeated Andover 8-to-2. Noah Mellen scored six goals. Joseph Getts and William Compton also scored. Carson McDonough was great in goal.

Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B 3 - Somersworth-Berwick 3
The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team skated to a 3 - 3 tie with Somersworth-Berwick. Megan Kehr led off the scoring for Henniker assisted by Greg Warner. Warner and Bobby Galli scored the next two goals with Zach Roever assisting on both.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 6 Brattleboro Squirt A 2
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Brattleboro Squirt A team 6 to 2. Goals were scored by AJ Gurney, Jim Earley, Benny Umen, Matt Cann, and Jared Donohue. Goalie Sam Daley made 22 saves.

The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Oyster River Squirt A team 4 to 3 in Granite State League play continuing their undefeated season. Netminder Sam Daley stopped 27 of 30 shots. Cody Cawthorn scored two goals and an assist. Jared Donohue and Benny Umen each scored a goal.

Henniker High Forest Peewee A team beat Berlin 4-to-2 behind goals from Compton, Getts, Matt Lennon and Dan Traynor. Mellen notched three assists.

The Henniker PFC Contracting Pee Wee B team tied Dover 2 - 2. Zach Roever scored the first goal for Henniker assisted by Megan Kehr. Alex Butterworth's goal in the third period tied the game. Bobby Galli had an assist. Erik VanDenberghe was solid in goal.

The Hillsboro Ford U-12 Girls team defeated the Lady Monarch Squirt B team 4-1 on Sunday. Amanda Payea led the Huskies with a hat trick and Kyleigh Joseph added a goal. Brianna Blaine and Christyn Von Svoboda each had an assist. Shenae Lundberg had a strong game protecting the goal for Henniker.

Henniker Mite A 2 - Rochester 3
The Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team fell to Rochester 2-3. Hunter Joseph's goal put Henniker on the scoreboard first. Rochester scored the next three goals. Keith Galli put a backhanded rebound in to score Henniker's second goal. Will Callif and Saer Murray each had assists. Alex Houle and Sam Tucker were strong on defense. Derek Drouin was outstanding in net.

Henniker Mite A 1 - Back Bay 3
In a fast and furious game the Wyman's Chevrolet Mite A team fell to Back Bay 1 - 3. Henniker out shot Back Bay in the second and third periods, but could only score once. Keith Galli scored the lone goal for Henniker assisted by Saer Murray and Corey Kasiaras. Nate Philbrick and Nick Kasiaras both did a great job on defense.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 6 - Salem 2
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies defeated the Salem Squirt A team 6 - 2 to remain undefeated in Granite State regular season play. Goalie Sam Daley was strong in net, stopping 28 shots for the win. Matt Cann scored twice and Benny Umen, Peter Medvetz, AJ Gurney and Jared Donohue all scored.

Henniker/Acromm Squirt A 3 - Reading 3
The Henniker/Acromm Squirt A Huskies tied the Reading Squirt A team 3-3 to remain undefeated and in first place in the Valley League. Goalie Sam Daley played solid, making 28 saves. Peter Medvetz scored twice assisted by Dan Mulcahey, Jared Donohue and Ian Murray and Benny Umen scored unassisted.

Henniker's Peewee A 7 - NH East 1
Henniker's Peewee A team beat NH East 7-to-1. William Compton scored three goals, Noah Mellen tallied two and Dan Fougere and Joseph Getts scored one goal each. Tom Tuttle and Max Murray played well on defense. Jacob Noyes worked hard. Shelby Kuespert and Carson McDonough shared goaltender duties.
